PARENTS and grandparents are being recruited to help try to lower the number of child road accidents in Bolton. Several primary schools are taking part in Kerbcraft, a new scheme designed to help improve roadside skills.
Volunteers work with small groups of children to practise road sense in the local area. Training is given and volunteers need to give an hour a week for four to six weeks.
