A TEENAGER was still in a critical condition in hospital today after being injured in an accident with a car in Bolton.
Robert Chadwick, aged 18, was in Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, near to the junction of Sweetloves Lane, at about 11.30pm on Friday when he was involved in the incident with a Fiat Uno.
The teenager, from Brief Street, Tonge Moor, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital. He is currently in the intensive care unit at the hospital, where his condition is described as serious. The driver of the car, Nicholas Kay, also aged 18, from Longridge, Bromley Cross, was not injured.
