A DEVELOPER wants to knock down a church hall to make way for housing.
Harlor homes has applied for planning permission to demolish the vacant St Mark's Church Hall in Edge Fold Road, Worsley, and build three houses and a block of six flats.
The plan will go before Salford Council on Thursday but it is recommended for refusal following 57 objection letters from residents. They say the buildings would overshadow their homes causing a loss of privacy, and there would be an increase in traffic.
