DOZENS of worshippers gathered at Bolton Parish Church to watch the state service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral, London, on a big screen.
It was installed to enable parishioners to feel part on the London celebrations.
Stephen Mort, administrator at the parish, who organised the event, said: "The idea came in a letter from the Bishop of Dorchester who encouraged us to screen the event for the public.
"More than 200 churches took part nationally and people from across Bolton have joined us to watch the event."
The Rev Debby Plummer, Bolton Parish Churches Associate Vicar, added: "It's great that people have taken the time to leave their houses to join with others here. I enjoyed the day immensely."
