WELL, well! Where would the sick, lonely, elderly and invalids be without our carers and friends?
I am 90 years of age and I have recently experienced an unexpected dastardly illness.
I have had a fortnight of chronic arthritis, with all the trimmings -- doctor, police, ambulance, hospital, x-rays, many interviews, taxi home, etc. Then straight into the arms of my cheerful carers.
They had one universal aim -- to get me well, regardless. These ladies took all worries off my shoulders re my home problems -- meals, shopping, baths -- nothing too much trouble.
I hope other patients have found the same attention and their unobtrusive work, as I have. I hope they received double remuneration for taking our worries away (one), and superb administrations (second).
Anyway, well done ladies, God bless you all! I thank you loud and clear. If I won £1m, I will share it for a job well done, and here's me thinking human kindness was over.
