A BOLTON primary school pupil has won a scholarship to attend a renowned grammar school.
Chloe Bentham, a pupil at Egerton primary school, has won the John Law scholarship to the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Blackburn. The 11-year-old attained the highest marks in the school entrance exam and will join the school in September.
QEGS headteacher David Hempsall, said: "Chloe deserves the scholarship for her excellent performance. Her current headteacher tells me Chloe will be a first class pupil and will benefit from the many extra-curricular activities we can offer her at QEGS."
