PUPILS had stars in their eyes when TV starmaker Matthew Kelly and Manchester United goalkeeper Fabien Barthez appeared to open their garden party.
But it was actually look-a-likes Anthony Jenkins, aka Matthew, and Alan Hill, a dead ringer for Fabien Barthez, who visited Tanfield School in Wigan.
The school has applied for specialist Arts College Status but first has to raise £43,000 to match a government grant. Both lookalikes gave their time free of charge for the cause.
