A WESTHOUGHTON youngster has won first prize for her colourful creation in an RSPCA competition.
Zara Child, aged 11, beat 200 other children in designing a poster to promote rabbit welfare.
The Sacred Heart RC Primary School pupil won a shield and a VIP visit to the charity's Stapeley Grange Wildlife Hospital and cattery in Cheshire.
North-west regional education adviser for the RSPCA, Sue Dawson, said: "We have been astounded by the enthusiasm shown to the competition by all the pupils and school staff. Choosing a winner was hard, but Zara Child's stood out that little bit more."
