NIGERIAN World Cup star Taribo West could be ready to make a shock move to the Reebok Stadium.
Representatives of the Nigerian World Cup star are reported to be having talks with Wanderers.
West would be joining his fellow countryman Jay Jay Okocha at Bolton.
The 28-year-old, who previously played for Derby County in the 2000-1 season, is available for nothing having been released by German club Kaiserslautern - the club whom Youri Djorkaeff left for Bolton in February.
"We are in talks with Taribo West's representatives regarding a possible move to the Reebok Stadium," said manager Sam Allardyce.
"Taribo is a quality player with a great deal of experience. He is a player that I would like to have in my squad."
