GOOD news today for Tim Henman despite his drubbing in the semi-final by all-conquering new Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt.
Henman crashed out of Wimbledon at the semi-final stage for the fourth time in five years in Friday's three-set hammering by all-action Australian baseliner Hewitt.
But Henman's performance has upgraded his world ranking to number four today, his highest ever position. It will partly help him to answer the critics who have so unfairly taken him to task for not beating Hewitt.
For Hewitt's three set victory over David Nalbadian yesterday surely comfirmed he is playing tennis of a calibre for above normal standards.
