BEAUTY products are always high on my list of priorities. This week I have picked out a selection of my favourites -- products that are new to the market and worth looking out for.
BOURJOIS is set to launch a range of pastel matt eyeshadows (£5.50), combining colour with a matt finish. There is a blue, a violet, a discreet beige and a warm brown -- something to suit everyone. Look out for them soon in Boots and Superdrug.
L'OREAL has developed a tailor-made cleansing range for mature skin which helps to smooth out signs of tiredness. There are Age Perfect cleansing wipes (£4.99) which come in a pack of 25, cleansing milk (£4.99) and toner (£4.99), all designed to help care for older skin. Available from Boots.
HELENA RUBINSTEIN two special offers for summer are -- choose a Helena Rubinstein mascara (£17) and get an eye make-up remover free or buy the Helena Rubinstein Force C premium cream (£30) and get a mask, eye cream and cleansing fluid free. Look out for them in Kendals in Manchester or ring 01727 799254.
RIMMEL has launched a limited-edition collection, Sugababes, which includes nail polish and lipstick (£2.49 each). Available from Boots, independent chemists and selected supermarkets for a limited period only.
LIZ EARLE products are a particular favourite of mine. I am addicted to the skincare (it smells good enough to eat and is gentle enough for sensitive skin) so imagine my delight when Liz launched a sun care range. There is a face protector in factor 24 (£15), body protector in a factor 15 (£17), a self-tan spray (£15) and an aftersun gel (£12). They contain gorgeous ingredients (orange flower water and green tea to name just two), have no perfume in them and no chemicals. They do the job gently but efficiently. I can vouch for their mail order service which is available on 01983 813914.
CHRISTIAN DIOR has long been synonymous with luxury products and the new skincare line does not break with that tradition. The iod range is gorgeous and includes a double soap (£9), a matifying "aqua powder" which helps shine-prone areas (£14), individual sachets of exfoliant (£11.50 for a box of 12) and a miracle product for the eyes -- Radiant Sorbet-- which promises to rid you of dark circles and puffiness (£16.50).
