SPEKE-based luxury car firm Jensen Motors is to go into administration after a rescue deal with the Macdonald Partnership collapsed.
A spokesman for Jensen said: "The directors have recommended going into administration to give the company breathing space."
The firm made the Interceptor car and opened in Merseyside in the 1990s.
