MORE than £1m in Lottery money is being distributed across Lancashire to help fund out-of-school activities.
The cash means almost 2,000 new places for children aged between three and 14.
The announcement has been made by the New Opportunities Fund. It includes around £750,000 for two projects in Chorley.
After-school and pre-school projects in Blackburn and Darwen will also benefit, along with seven schools in Blackpool.
