A TRAVEL company which ran internet-based holiday clubs from offices in Bolton has gone into liquidation.
The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry has applied to the High Court to wind up six companies that promoted and ran travelmasters.com and leisuremasters.co.uk
They are Travelmasters Ltd, Mediterranean Marketing Ltd, Callmasters UK Ltd, CCH International Ltd, Intersun Ltd, and Leisuremasters Ltd.
The companies operated from a number of locations including Peel House in Chorley Old Road, Bolton, and St George's Road, Bolton.
Following an investigation by the Government department into the companies, petitions have been filed to wind them up and disqualify the directors.
An official receiver has been appointed as provisional liquidator of the companies and a hearing is scheduled to take place on August 14.
