IN reply to the letters about noisy taxis, alarms and loud music from cars.

Where we live, we get different taxis at regular intervals pipping their horns all over the estate from first thing in the morning to late into the night. This is annoying to people who work shifts and also people with children trying to get them to sleep.

Neighbours, their friends and relatives are also as bad with their loud music. People seem to be too lazy nowadays to get out of their cars and knock on the door.

In future, people will be born with short legs through lack of use by sitting in their cars all day.

Could someone tell me what is the law about this persistent noise pollution?

Mrs P Ellison
