YOUNG wildlife champion James Hulme will join other countryside lovers for a walk around Unsworth's Goshen Woods this weekend.
The eight-year-old, who recently won the BBC Wildlife Young Environmental Champions Award for a project on the local woodland, is now hoping to spend part of his prize on further improving the area.
On Sunday he will join members of the Goshen and Hampson Mill Community Association and Bury Countryside Rangers, to see what work is needed.
Anyone interested in taking part in the event should meet at 10am at Millwood CP School car park, Fletcher Fold Road. More details on 0161 253 7344.
