GREATER Manchester Police's new-look website www.gmp.police.uk is gearing up for the Commonwealth Games.
The website was launched this week by police and actress Angela Lonsdale, Coronation Street's Sergeant Emma Watts.
The site provides the latest police news and information and has been launched ahead of the Commonwealth Games following three months of development.
Assistant Chief Constable Ian Seabridge said: "It provides a great opportunity to communicate with the public. I hope people will find it a useful source of information about policing in their local area.
"We would encourage people to provide information about crimes by using online forms and help make a difference to policing."
Station opening times, maps, missing people and traffic information in the Bolton area can also be accessed at the click of a mouse along with special reports on the Commonwealth Games and last year's race riots in Oldham.
