TIMES past will come back to life in rural Bolton over the weekend with a Victorian fair.
The two-day fair, to raise money for the Egerton and Eagley Heritage Society, will start at noon on Saturday at Egerton Park in Blackburn Road, Egerton.
A Victorian fairground, tea rooms, a sports day and a host of other stalls and attractions will feature.
A music festival with a host of local up-and-coming bands will then be held from 5pm until 9pm. The festivities will continue on Sunday with Victorian stalls and fairgrounds. Both events are free, all are welcome.
The Egerton and Eagley Heritage Society are hoping to raise funds for the restoration of a disused barn in the park to be used as a meeting place for local clubs and organisations.
Money raised will also be used to fund projects as part of the the on-going campaign to return Egerton Park to its former glory.
