DRINK driver Kathyrn Hall was nearly three times the legal limit when she was involved in a road accident.
Bury magistrates were told the 43 year old had caused minor damage to the other vehicle but, after visiting a nearby shop, she then drove away.
Police were called to Martin Street, Bury, and, after obtaining details of the car involved, visited Hall's address in Haslam Street, Bury, where they discovered the vehicle parked outside.
The police officers realised that Hall had been drinking and she was arrested.
Defending, Mr Tim Copley said: "She can give no plausible explanation about the accident. She recognises that the reading is high and that she does have some problems with drink."
Hall, who pleaded guilty to drink driving and failing to stop after an accident was disqualified from driving for two years, given a 12 month Community Rehabilitation order and ordered to pay court costs of £60.
