A NEWLY-elected councillor for the far-right British National Party has refused to support a football club's stance on anti-racist behaviour.
Carol Hughes's decision to abstain from a motion applauding Burnley football club's initiative to ban racist fans left the town's council leaders "shocked".
Stuart Caddy has called on the BNP to clarify its stance on race issues.
