TOM and Megan Fairclough are flying the flag for Lancashire cricket.
The Dunscar brother and sister were both called up for Lancashire in junior fixtures last weekend.
Yet that proved frustrating for proud parents David and Katherine Fairclough.
The matches were both played at the same time at venues miles apart which left the parents with the dilemma of who should go to which match.
In the end Katherine decided to watch 14-year-old Tom play for Lancashire under 13s at Lytham. while Megan, 10, was accompanied by her dad when she played for Lancashire Ladies under 13s against Cheshire at Warrington
All rounder Tom was a member of last year's Lancashire under 13s side, playing matches all over the country, usually watched by his parents.
But when Megan was spotted at a coaching course by Lancashire coach Peter Rutherford and asked to play for the ladies side, it left the parents with the knotty problem.
"Obviously David and I wanted to see both of them play but it wasn't possible," said Katherine.
"In the end it was decided that I should go with Tom as his dad had watched him play at Hull a few weeks ago. David went with Megan but hopefully this kind of clash won't happen again."
Megan is one of a number of girls now playing competitive cricket in Bolton. She plays for Egerton under 11s and her school, Walmesley CE while she is also a talented young football player with Bolton Wanderers Ladies.
Tom also plays for Turton School and the under 15s at Egerton but has played for the first team on the last two weekends, making his debut recently.
