A MAN accused of causing an explosion in Bolton town centre will appear again at Bolton Crown Court in six weeks.
Stephen Paul Davies, aged 46, of Breightmet Drive, Breightmet, appeared in court yesterday but the case was adjourned until August 23.
Mr Davies is charged with causing an explosion with intent to endanger life and of intent to damage property on St George's Street on March 1. There was no application for bail and he was remanded in custody. Police were called to St George's Street after an incendiary device blew up and injured a passer-by.
