MAN and wife Tony and Ellen Morris will be Bolton's wrestling representatives at the Commonwealth Games as they fill administrative roles.
Tony, former national level wrestler and international coach and team manager, will take on his first position as an official as he takes charge of scoring and timing.
While Ellen, vice chairman of the Northern Regional Wrestling Association and director of the British Wrestling Association, is one of a four-strong Senior Competition Management Committee in charge of organising the wrestling event.
And they will be officiating over two other local wrestlers named in Team England's squad for the Games.
John Melling, Wigan and Leigh Wrestling Club, and Paul Stridgeon, Wigan and Aspull Wresting club, have been named in a seven-strong squad hunting England's first gold medal since 1986.
Melling already has a Commonwealth silver medal after his triumph in Victoria in 1994.
Wrestling takes place at the G-MEX Centre from August 2-4.
