THE former home of Salford artist LS Lowry is going up for auction after its initial asking price was halved.
Owners of the house have cut the reserve price to £100,000 after it failed to sell at its first auction.
It is due to go on sale at Haydock Park and the owners hope that someone will snap it up and turn it into a visitor centre.
