CHORLEY Golf Club has the youngest Junior Champion in its history.
Joseph Morris, a 14-year-old 11 handicapper, beat Michael Hearn in a terrific championship that had over 50 starters.
Morris, who came through 2 and 1 has been a member at Chorley for three years. Hearn plays off 4 and is only 15, making it the youngest competed final ever at Chorley.
Morris, who attends St Michael's School, Chorley, represented the school this week in the Lancashire Schools' competition at Southport and Ainsdale and competes in the Bolton Junior Championships which are being at the Chorley club on Sunday week.
