YOUNGSTERS donned fancy dress -- and trainers -- to raise money for two charities.
Pupils from Bolton School Boys' Division were sponsored to run laps of the athletics track and raised £3,350 for the National Deaf Children's Society and the local branch of Volunteer Reading Help.
The boys from the junior school were in fancy dress for the run.
Volunteer Reading Help is a national charity which recruits and trains people to work with children who are have problems reading. In addition to funds the charity needs volunteers.
To help, no formal qualifications are needed, just a love of books and patience to listen to children. Further details from Rachel Sawbridge on 373688.
