A CRACKDOWN on car crime in Manchester has resulted in the recovery of about £2 million worth of vehicles and 150 arrests.
Operation Maiden was a six-month campaign focusing on car-jacking, theft of items from cars and crime prevention. "As a result of this operation, the number of these types of offences has dropped considerably," Pc Paddy Kerr said.
