JAY-JAY Okocha will make his Wanderers debut on Sunday.
The Nigerian met up with his new team-mates for the first time on Thursday, as the squad arrived in northern Italy for the start of their ten day tour.
The opening game will be in Bormio against Rappresentativa Valtellina, in which all fit players are likely to get a run-out.
That could also mean maiden starts for Delroy Facey and Bernard Mendy, although Bulent Akin remains injured.
But while he concentrates on club duties, Okocha feels he would be letting his country down if he was to quit the Nigerian national side.
The 28-year-old midfielder had suggested on his arrival in England that he would not play for the Super Eagles again after their unsuccessful World Cup campaign, in which he played in all three games.
"I can't quit now," he said. "The Nigerians would not forgive me."
Okocha has also revealed that he intends to stay in this country after his current deal expires in two years time.
