STARTLING storms played havoc with the fixtures last week as yet more matches were added to the backlog.
Bolton Pianos, DB3, Andrea Whipp and Healey Karwat suffered postponements as promotion places and league toppers were affected by the weather.
On the inside courts BUPA B were creating their own storming performance, coming back from an 8-11 half-time deficit, to take the game 21-16. A determined defence, led by GK Lorraine Caines quenched GS Jill Roberts' forceful attack.
Barnstormers meanwhile are still struggling to put their first victory together. While being certain contenders for the fair play team of the year, they continue to search for their first win. Another close competitive game saw them go down 25-37 to Holy Cross.
