A GIRL aged 16 was indecently assaulted on a bus in Bury.
She was attacked by a teenager after she had boarded the 469 service at Bury bus station to go to Tottington.
He walked up to her on the top deck and indecently assaulted her before running off near to the Citroen garage in Tottington Road. The incident happened at 12.45pm yesterday.
Police said the girl is from the Tottington area and today detectives appealed for witnesses.
The attacker is aged about 16, white, 5ft 7ins tall, slim with a pale complexion and messy short blonde/brown hair. He has protruding ears and was wearing a navy blue jacket, a green polo shirt and dark trousers.
