POLICE have made a fresh appeal for information after a 74-year-old Bolton woman was robbed, then repeatedly stamped on by a thug who snatched her handbag.
As she walked along Stowell Court, Bolton, at 7.30pm last Friday, the man ripped her bag from her shoulder, pulling her to the ground, then stamped repeatedly on her body.
She suffered cuts and bruises to her arms, legs and head and is recovering in hospital. She has not been named.
The robber was white, aged about 16, 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build.
