PAUL Simon will become the latest star to wow a city tonight when he takes to the stage at a pop festival.
The singer's Liverpool visit is the first time he has been to the region since 1965, when he wrote Homeward Bound at Widnes train station.
Numerous stars have been performing in the Summer Pops festival in the Big Top at the Kings Dock, in Liverpool.
Sit Elton John, Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennet have all been entertaining the crowds.
