THE Bolton Intermediate Inter League team beat Bury 138-127 despite trailing by 14 runs after the first innings.
Needing 76 runs for victory, Gayle Nicholson, 26, and Louise Smethurst, 15, saw them home.
Darcy Lever A held the Charity Shield by beating Little Lever 117-111, while Bolton's Junior Inter League team beat Bury 119-69.

On Sunday the Bolton Junior Inter League team played Bury and Bolton held a lead at 59-34 at the half time interval. When Bolton scored 119 runs in their second innings the game appeared to have been won. Bury batted better in their second innings but were dismissed for 69 runs.
This left Bolton 7-0 up in the series with one game to play.
The Charity Shield final followed the junior game and Darcy Lever CC A retained the Charity Shield when they beat Little Lever XI 117-111.
Little Lever scored 53 runs in their first innings with Angela Booth top scoring with 14 runs.
When Darcy batted they built up a useful lead and scored 85 runs.
Little Lever batted a second time and lost four batters without scoring. Angela Booth again top scored with 12 runs in a total of 58 runs leaving Darcy requiring 27 runs for victory. It appeared to be going well for Darcy and then they lost nine batters who scored a total of 13 runs. Michelle Farthing 9 runs and Sarah Gradwell 8 runs becoming the match winners.
