ROY Chamberlain has taken over as chairman of the garage door industry's trade body.
The chairman of Chamberlain Doors in Blackrod, he succeeds Julie Chester at the helm of the Association of Garage Door Specialists.
He was founder chairman between 1994 and 1996 when the organisation was launched to warn the public about the dangers of using unqualified "cowboy" fitters.
There are now more than 60 members who offer a free and impartial advice service to customers before any work is undertaken.
