MARVIN Hyde has been doing the business again after successfully defending his title in the Bolton Rivers Charity Open on the top and bottom waters of Doe Hey.
A good draw was needed to give the Apollo Motors man a chance to repeat last years number one spot and he got it with a peg on the top water.
He still needed to attract and catch the big carp that lurk in the water and his patience and confidence in his pole and worm tactics paid off in fine style. Two carp for 22lbs and 7lb of bits ensured a 10lb margin between him and second overall Paul Johnson.
