WANDERERS will not be pursuing their interest in Liverpool's wantaway French defender Djimi Traore.
The player's agent Willie McKay claims manager Sam Allardyce is "very interested" in signing Traore, who is also linked with a return to France with Bordeau.
But the manager says the financial package is out of his range.
McKay had told PlanetFootball.com: "Bolton are very interested in Traore. Traore was outstanding for Liverpool against Le Havre last week, but he is desperate to leave as he is unlikely to get many first team chances at Anfield this season."
"Sam Allardyce is looking to lower the age of his squad and he is very keen to reinforce his defence."
"Bordeaux are looking to bring him back to France on a season-long loan and they have been in touch with Liverpool, who have told them he is available. If David Sommeil leaves Bordeaux they see Traore as the ideal replacement."
