FIRST of all this week, I want to apologise on behalf of T4 for those of you who tuned in to watch Pop Beach Party last Sunday.

As you'll probably have heard, it was all a bit chaotic down there in Brighton and we didn't get to deliver the goods for reasons beyond our control, but bear with us because we will be having a beach party before the summer's out.

I went out with a couple of the boys from Toploader the other night -- Joe and Dan. Dan's married to TV presenter Gail Porter and they're expecting their first baby next month.

We all live near to each other so us lads decided to have a night on the town -- nothing much really, a few drinks in our local boozer, but it was a good laugh all the same.

I'm back up north this week with T4's summer roadshow and first port of call is Alton Towers. Next we're visiting the set of Hollyoaks and we'll spend some time in Chester.

Then, on Friday, we're in Blackpool on the West Pier -- come down and give us a shout. We've got loads going on there so it should be a good day. Fish, chips and Blackpool rock. Can't get any better than that!

I suppose loads of you will be baking on some foreign beach over the next couple of weeks. Spare a thought for yours truly will you? I'm stuck in the middle of DIY on our new house. Who says I don't live a rock n' roll lifestyle?
