PARENTS who think that education for their children ends with school are being encouraged to rethink their views.
With only 15 per cent of a child's waking life spent at school, the educational charity Campaign for Learning, wants to stress the importance the role of the family has on a child's development.
Their annual Family Learning Weekend, to be held this year from the October 11-13 aims to raise awareness of this issue and to give families an enjoyable way of learning together.
