CLAIRE O'Keefe was the star of the show as Bolton Harriers Junior Girls team ended their Northern Division 2 campaign in a fine second place behind League Champions Preston.
Claire not only won all three individual sprint events, but also ran a superb sprint relay anchor leg. Taking hold of the baton in last place, O'Keefe stormed past all her rivals to win the event for Bolton.
The team result was the same as for previous matches, but with Harriers running Preston much closer this time. After finishing 90 points behind in the first match, they narrowed the margin to a mere 23 points this time.
Alia Busaileh made it a club double in the B 300m, as did Katie Eckersley by winning the B 200m.
In the Under 15s Alex Dietze won the 100m, and Liz Holt and Megan French too excellent second places in the 1500m and 75m hurdles.
The Under 13s also tasted success, as Naomi Hall won a Shot Putt and Long Jump double, and Holly Peatfield took the 150m sprint.
There is no promotion this year, but the girls will no doubt look forward to an even more successful campaign next season.
