TICKET touts have been operating outside the venue for the Commonwealth Games boxing event.
People were snapping up seats from touts at the Forum Centre, Wythenshawe, as demand for the tournament exceeded supply.
And the venue is so small that fighters have been forced to watch the action on a screen in the theatre next door.
Organisers have been accused of shoehorning early rounds of the event into a building which is too small.
The action switches to the 16,000 capacity MEN Arena for the semi-finals and final but that has not appeased the Amateur International Boxing Association, upset at the 500 capacity of the Forum.
President Professor Anwar Chowdhry wanted the bouts played in two rings, one in the theatre and one in the main hall of the revamped complex.
But the Games director of sport, Brian Stocks, said: "There is a better atmosphere with one."
