LITTLE adventurer Jordan Lloyd found himself in real trouble -- right up to his ears.
He went out playing with friends when he tried to squeeze through a fence.
But the six-year-old's head became well and truly stuck and one of his pals ran to a neighbour who called the fire brigade.
And after a 15-minute ordeal, Jordan, of Newcombe Drive, Little Hulton, was finally released -- after a good soaping behind the ears.
Jordan had been out and about with his friends on a piece of wasteland near his home. As the boys tried to take a short cut, he got stuck between the bars of the six foot high metal fence.
He said: "My friends just laughed at first, but I was a little bit frightened. They had already got through the fence and I was scared I would be stuck there."
The Dukes Gate Primary School pupil was rescued by firefighters 15 minutes later.
And when he was freed, he was sent away with a warning from the fire crew not to do it again.
Jordan's mother, Kelly Lloyd, had been unaware of the drama on Friday evening -- she had told her son to return home regularly to tell her where he was playing.
She said: "He is always doing things he shouldn't. Even when he is playing in the back garden he'll be off over the fence."
Mrs Lloyd added that her other children Jack, aged four, and baby sister Tyler, aged seven months, were happy to play in the garden, while Jordan was always off in search of adventure.
It was a neighbour who took Jordan back home to explain what had happened, but his mother said she was sure he would have carried on playing if he had not been brought home.
Apart from a little swelling behind his ears, Jordan was none the worse after his ordeal.
But Mrs Lloyd said: "I'm looking forward to Jordan being back at school. At least I know he's staying out of trouble then."
