POLICE have arrested 13 people during a three-day operation code-named "Coalition".
Officers from Lancashire and Merseyside targeted car crime in particular in an area from Ormskirk to St Helens.
The operation, which ended on Saturday, saw special teams target the activities of criminals on both sides of the Lancashire/Merseyside border.
The 13 arrests were for many offences including car theft and burglary. Police say it was extremely successful.
