CHILDREN in Tyldesley are in line for a bumper August of fun.
A packed programme of events, including days out, has been organised by the SureStart team. Play sessions will take place between 10am and noon and 1pm to 3pm on August 6, 8, 13, 20, 27 and 29 at the Elliott Street "Drop In Shop", and cost 50p.
The Playin' Out team will be at the Green Avenue play area, Astley, from 10am to noon on August 2 and at Lynton Road from 2pm to 3pm on the same day.
Astley Street park is the place to be on August 7 for national Play Day and there will also be fun days at Tyldesley market on Fridays August 16, 23 and 30. Day trips have been organised to Stockley Farm, Cheshire, on August 15 and to The Water Place, Bolton, on the 22nd.
Parents should contact Georgina on 01942 883279 or call in at the centre. All trips are for children under four but older brothers and sisters are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
