SAM Allardyce will parade his quartet of summer signings when Wanderers continue their build up to the new season at Burnley tonight writes Gordon Sharrock
Youri Djorkaeff, Jay Jay Okocha, Bernard Mendy and Delroy Facey are all expected to figure in the Turf Moor friendly.
All four played in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Inter Milan at Reggiana but this will be the first opportunity for the majority of Bolton fans, who revelled in Djorkaeff's performances during his short stint in last season's successful survival battle, to see all the new recruits in action together.
Allardyce will take his full first team squad - apart from the injured Bulent Akin, Stig Tofting and Dean Holdsworth - and is expected to involve as many as possible.
"We can expect a difficult game against a typical English club side," the manager said.
"It will be a good test for us, and the right preparation after our successful pre-season tour of Italy.
"I expect the majority of my squad that travelled to Bormio to feature at some stage at Turf Moor. Youri Djorkaeff, Bernard Mendy and Jay Jay Okocha should play some part of the match.
"Pre-season games are all about getting fit and used to match conditions. You cannot gauge how your season will pan out by how successful you are in a pre-season campaign. A result tonight doesn't matter; it's all about preparation and building a cohesive unit that will be ready for the start of the Premiership campaign."
