WORLD Cup stars Jay-Jay Okocha and Youri Djorkaeff took it in turns to supply the class as Wandereras drew 1-1 in front of about 4,000 at Burnley.
Okocha was prominent in the first-half of the Turf Moor friendly then Djorkaeff came on after the interval as Henrik Pedersen equalised Gareth Taylor's 42nd minute opener for the Clarets.
This was the first opportunity for Bolton fans, who revelled in Djorkaeff's performances during his short stint in last season's successful survival battle, to see both in action.
Manager Sam Allardyce said: "Pre-season games are all about getting fit and used to match conditions. You cannot gauge how your season will pan out by how successful you are in a pre-season campaign. It's all about preparation and building a cohesive unit that will be ready for the start of the Premiership campaign."
