A MAN charged with conspiring to import illegal drugs worth an estimated £3million is believed to be hiding in Bolton, detectives have revealed.
Ashen Rashid Qureshi, aged 29, disappeared while on bail last November after being charged with conspiring to import ecstasy, amphetamines and cannabis.
Qureshi, aged 29, who is originally from Halifax, also goes by the name of Essen Rashid Qureshi.
His charges relate to an alleged failed bid to import a massive consignment of drugs into this country from Belgium.
The drugs never left Belgium as they were seized by the authorities.
A National Crime Squadspokesman said: "We have information to suggest this man is living in the Bolton area and frequenting Manchester."
Qureshi is tall, of stocky build and has a scar on his left cheek.
