LANCASHIRE County Council is to meet to discuss revised plans for the closure of a number of care homes for the elderly.
The new proposals by the council would see three care homes saved from the original 35 under threat.
They are also planning a "phasing out" of the closure programme over a longer period of time.
But groups of Lancashire residents who are opposed to the plan said the revisions are just not good enough, and were due to lobby the meeting today.
