SHORE Top AC held the Ellis Crowther Memorial match on their own Outwood water.
A six and half pound carp was a welcome addition to the skimmer net of Mark Tallon who used quivertip with red maggot to good effect to win the trophy with a 18lbs-9ozs bag.
Second was Trevor Bevin who had an all silver fish bag of 16lbs-3ozs taken on the tip with worm. John Turton was third who also caught on worm but with the swing tip and he returned 11lbs-4ozs.
Fourth was Marvin Hide, whose day was not quite as 'marvellous' as others he has had recently and he had to be contented with 8lbs-14ozs. Fifth was Jimmy Thornley with 8lbs-2ozs and sixth was Les Salmon with 7lbs-0ozs.
