WHEN fun-loving Tony Lewis asked karaoke judges to Let Me Entertain You, he never imagined he would be headlining as the infamous Robster within six months.
Since November, when singing the Robbie Williams hit won Tony the Joey Blower's talent search in Blackpool, his life has spiralled into a whirlwind of success, with bookings right up until New Year.
As part of the prize for winning the North-west singing competition, Tony, of Thirlmere Avenue, Astley, won a summer contract with Leisure Parcs, which led to him being snapped up to star in Blackpool look-alike and sound-alike show, Legends.
The 22-year-old now alternates on a weekly basis between his 'normal' life as an air-conditioning engineer, and performing as international pop star and notoriously cheeky chappy, Robbie Williams.
Tony has just completed his second week in the show, in which he sings eight Robbie tracks including two duets with Kerry 'Kylie' Miller.
He said: "This a unique opportunity and I'm grabbing it with both hands while I can. We don't take ourselves too seriously, I'm just enjoying it."
Tony can be seen in Legends at The Showbar on Central Pier, Blackpool, until October 27.
