A 14-YEAR-OLD girl who sparked a huge search after running away from home has been found safe and well -- thanks to the Bolton Evening News.
Kelly-Marie Nice, of Great Lever, was last seen on Wednesday at the Netto superstore in in St Helens Road, Deane.
Her worried father Martin, aged 47, issued a "come home" plea to his daughter in the Bolton Evening News yesterday.
He said Kelly-Marie had a history of running away from home, adding: "We just want to speak to her."
But yesterday afternon Mr Nice's fears turned to joy as Kelly-Marie was spotted by an eagle-eyed reader who took her home.
Mr Nice said: "There was a knock at the door and there she was.
"She was okay and had been staying at a friend's house.
"I would like to thank everyone at the Bolton Evening News for all their help."
